An American Internet pioneer, who is recognized as one of "the fathers of the Internet", sharing this title with TCP/IP co-inventor Bob Kahn. His contributions have been acknowledged and lauded, repeatedly, with honorary degrees and awards. Vint also serves as Chairmen of the IEIC.
Dr. Ken Washington is chief technology officer, Ford Motor Company. In this role, Washington leads Ford’s worldwide research organization, overseeing the development and implementation of the company’s technology strategy. Dr. Washington also holds the title of the elected head of the automotive industry and is a founding member of the IEIC.
Clint Heiden joined QTS in 2018 to lead the company’s Hybrid Colocation Sales and Marketing organization. Clint has more than 26 years of sales leadership experience in the data center, telecommunications and internet technology industries. Clint is also a founder of the IEIC, formed in 2019.
Dr. Mark Boxer
Dr. Mark Boxer has served as Cigna's Chief Information Officer (CIO) since April 2011. He is responsible for driving Cigna's worldwide technology strategy and overseeing Cigna’s enterprise digital capabilities, and also oversees Cigna's venture innovation fund. Dr. Boxer is also a founding member of the IEIC.
Frank Nazzaro is currently in his 2nd year as CTO at FreddieMac. Previously, he held similar positions at Travelport as well as CIT Group. Mr. Nazzaro is also a founding member of the IEIC.
Michael Leidinger has extensive experience managing large IT infrastructure and technical operations teams. He has obtained a strong record of accomplishment building and managing global technical teams and directing the development of both tactical and strategic solutions to improve service reliability and performance. Leidinger is also a founding member of the IEIC.
During the last 30 years, Steve Alexander has had the privilege to work alongside some amazing technologists and futurists working to advance optical networking technologies, systems and architectures, with a focus on scalability and robustness for mission-critical networks. Steven has served Ciena as Senior VP and CTO for over 15 years. Mr. Alexander is also a Founding Member of the IEIC.
Howard Boville, CTO within Bank of America, is responsible for designing, building and running the firms Cloud Services. Howard also spent over 13 years prior to this at BT Global Services. Mr. Boville is also a founding member of the IEIC.
Colby Synesael is a managing director and senior research analyst specializing in the communications infrastructure and telecom services industries. Mr. Synesael has been covering the communications infrastructure and telecom services industries as a senior research analyst since 2006.
Andrew Dugan is Chief Technology Officer for CenturyLink. In this role, he is responsible for the development, integration and deployment of CenturyLink’s global network supporting Consumer, Wholesale, Government and Enterprise markets. Andrew is a veteran technology executive with more than 30 years of experience in building telecommunications networks, switching platforms and services platforms. Mr. Dugan is also a Founding Member of the IEIC.
Mr. Rafael Arranz has been Chief Operating Officer of Cable at Telxius Telecom S.A. since February 15, 2016. Mr. Arranz has more than 24 years of experience. He holds a telecommunications engineering degree from Madrid’s Polytechnic University and an international master degree from Instituto Carlos V. Mr. Arranz is also a Founding Member of the IEIC.
Staffan Göjeryd was appointed CEO of Telia Carrier in August 2016. Having started at Telia Company at a time when a 14k modem was considered high tech, he has since helped drive Telia Carrier to its position as one of the world’s leading global backbones. He is also a Founding Member of the IEIC.
Asher Kagan is a self-taught entrepreneur who has always had a passion for computers. Following the company’s acquisition by Doro, he and Freund left the company and teamed with Stéphane Héliot to create the most powerful PC ever: the cloud-based Shadow. Asher is also a founding member of the IEIC.
Vinay is currently President of InterGlobix, a global solutions company focused on the convergence of data centers, terrestrial and subsea fiber. He is a data center and connectivity leader and visionary with over 24 years of experience developing products and technology solutions, business growth strategies in data centers. Vinay also serves the IEIC as Executive Director.
Barbara D. Boyan, Ph.D., the Alice T. and William H. Goodwin Jr. Dean of VCU’s College of Engineering, is a nationally acclaimed researcher and entrepreneur. An industry leader and proponent of improving quality of life around the world, Dean Boyan is the co-founder of four companies and serves on the Board of Directors for six other companies. She is also a founding member of the IEIC.
As the County’s chief administrative officer, John is responsible for all county general government operations; an approved annual fiscal plan of more than $1 billion in operating and capital budgets; and a workforce encompassing more than 4,000 general government employees. John is also a Founding Member of the IEIC.
Ivo A. Ivanov is Chief Operating Officer of the DE-CIX Group AG and also - as Chief
Executive Officer of DE-CIX International - responsible for the global business
activities of the Internet Exchange Operator. Ivo has more than 15 years’ of
experience in the regulatory, legal and commercial Internet environment. He is also a Founding Member of the IEIC.
Jezzibell Gilmore is a co-founder and SVP of Business Development at PacketFabric. Prior to PacketFabric, Jezzibell was an early stage employee of AboveNet Communications and Akamai Technologies, and previously served as VP of Operations at RoamData.
Twyla has worked in Economic Development for 11 years, serving as a project manager at the state and county levels. Twyla has been involved with the Data Center Developments at Henrico County. Previously she worked at IBM and AT&T.
Nicole is the EVP for the Americas. With over 20 years of experience in telecommunications, she is responsible for strategy, implementation and execution of sales initiatives throughout the region. Nicole most recently spent 15 years at XO Communications.
Jon is a recognized leader in the information technology services industry with a particular focus on managed services, security and privacy. At QTS Jon oversees the development of the technology platform used to deliver QTS’ integrated services as well as solutions engineering and information security programs. Mr. Greaves is also a Founding Member of the IEIC.
